Abstract
|

|
Squamous cell carcinomas of the middle ear are rare malignant tumors involving head and neck region.
We experienced two cases of middle ear malignant tumors. They complained of otorrhea, otalgia and facial paralysis, and they had been suffered from long-standing chronic otitis media since adolescence.
One, 74 years old male, was treated with partial temporal bone resection and the other, 54 years old female, didn't have any procedure except diagnostic work up. They were proven as squamous cell carcinomas.
So, we report two cases of squamous cell carcinomas of the middle ear with literature review.
